2008 Maha Shivarathri celebration held on March 9th.
Thank you for attending Maha Shivrathri event and making it a big success. It was a very good celebration and good turnout with couple of new members joining us.
Breifing of the event:
The pooja started at 12:15pm, with Ganesha Stotra and Shiva Pooja. Followed by, Shiva Ashtotra chanting and Bilvashtakam recital.
Everyone pariticipated in Shiva panchamrutha abisheka, and Aarthi.
Followed by thirtha, prasad and lunch.
Thanks to all for their cooperation and coordination, with pooja, accommodation, setting up, food and cleaning up after.
After lunch, we had a small announcement session, we talked about: Annual membership

Thanks to Anu and Shekar for hosting and coordinating.
Neela and Kalyan for coordination and communication on pooja, menu, supplies, etc, etc.
A beautiful day and everyones' participation marked the event!!!

Like Basavaraj mentioned, please make it a point to attend the convention this year, this is not a optional unless you are in India during this time.
