2008 VSNA-TX Chapter events
In the year 2008, we are planning the usual four VSNA-TX sponsored events plus two outdoor events. Please note the date, venue and mark your calenders and plan to attend with your family.
1) Maha Shivaratri - Sunday, March 9, 11am - 3pm
Venue: Benakatti residence
co-ordinators: Anu and Neela.
2) Basava Jayanthi - Saturday, May 10, 10am-12pm
Venue: Youth Center DFW Hindu Temple;
co-ordinators: Rajashri and Rashmi.
3) Ganesh Chaturthi - Saturday, Sept. 6, 6-10pm
Venue: Prakash residence
co-ordinator: Mamatha.
4) Deepavali - Saturday, Nov. 1, evening
Venue: Vijay and Sushma Hiremath's residence
co-ordinator: Avinash.
5) Spring outing - early or mid April - (weather permitting)
Date: April 12/13/19th or 20th
Venu: TBD
co-ordinator: Shaila.
6) Fall outing - early or mid Oct - (weather permitting)
date/venue: TBD
co-ordinator: Kalyan.
Each event has co-ordinator(s) assigned, and we request your co-operation and participation in making these events a success. If you are interested in co-ordinating events or hosting, please let us know.
