2007 Ganesha Chathurti Celebration by VSNA-TX Chapter
Date: 23rd Sept. please note the date change
Time: 12 PM to 3.45 PM

Event Details: 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM Ganesha puja
1:00 PM to 1:15 PM Linga puja
1:15 PM to 1:45 PM Discussion/songs etc.
1:45 PM to 2:00 PM Arrange food
2:00 PM to 3:00 PM Lunch
3:15 PM to 3:45 PM clean the hall.

Visiting guest: Dr. M.N.Channabasappa
Dr M.N.Channabasappa who is former Professor of Mathematics at Regional College of Engineering SURATHKAL a great devotee of Sree Sree Sivakumara Swamiji of Siddaganga Math Tumkur. Currently the Director of S.I.T. Tumkur was the Principal of Siddaganga Institute of Engineering College Tumkur for more than15 years and he is on a mission to collect some money to support under privileges students at Siddaganga Matt.
P.S: Hall is available only for the duration of 11:45 PM to 3:45 PM so be on time. Food has been catered. Please be prepared to have late lunch around 2:00 PM. You are welcome to bring fruits or flowers for the Ganesha puja

Vote of Thanks from the President
Hello Everyone,
Thanks for coming together as a community and celebrating Ganesh Chathurthi. The Ganesh puja, the abhisheka, followed by the chanting was serene. The event went very well and pretty close to schedule. Thanks to all the volunteers for helping out with several parts of the arrangements. It is very nice to see a group of people complementing and executing the task at hand.
We indeed had the honor of having Dr. Channabasappa (a great devotee of Sree Sree Sivakumara Swamiji of Siddaganga Math Tumkur) join us. He spoke about Swamiji and his mission to collect some money for the Matt.
Donation can be made and sent to VSNA-TX. While Kalyan and I gather more information on issuing a receipt from VSNA for the donation amount.
Lastly, would like to mention about few families that were unable to attend... we missed you at the event. In future, it will be nice if the families let us know the change in head count. We understand there is always some last minute changes. Thanks for your support.
