Pavilion not reserved and it is first come first
basis. Rashmi Kottur is going at
9:30AM to capture a Pavillion and she can leave as
soon as Manjula and GuruRaj shows up at 10:15 AM and
Avinash is joining them at 10:30AM

Basava Jayanthi Celebration - 2007
VSNA-TX chapter celebrated Basava Jayanthi on Saturday, the 21st April in Youth center of DFW Hindu temple.
Puja started at around 10.30 followed by chanting of “Om Basava Lingayanamaha” hundred and one times. The event was attended by 20 families. Each family shared at least one vachana with English translation. Children recited vachans and sang Shiva stuthi. The aarthi marked the conclusion of the puja accompanied with Basava Bhajan.
At 12:00 noon, all the devotees joined the Maha Mangala aarthi at the Main Temple sanctum. Aarthi was followed by Maha Prasadha.
Each family brought an item from the menu which was served as Anna Prasadha to all the visitors (70 to 80 devotees) to the temple that afternoon. The families came together to celebrate Basava Jaynathi and made it a memorable event.
A generous contribution of $201.00 was collected by VSNA-TX families toward DFW Hindu Temple donation.

Basava Jayanthi - Saturday, April 21 @ DFW temple.
VSNA-TX Chapter will be celebrating Basava Jayanthi on Saturday, April 21 @ DFW temple. Please mark your calendar for this event.
Hope to see the community coming together to make this a successful event.
We need volunteers to help with this event. Please let us know if you can help with puja, arrangements, food, etc.

VSNA Spring Picnic 2007 - May 6th @ 11am in Plano
Time has come to reign in the annual
rite of spring. There is little change in the location of the picnic due to logistics problems. New location will be Arbor Hill park, in Plano. Details of the park location and facilities available are in attached link. Please check this link and come prepared whatever way you and your family would like to enjoy.
Pavilion is first come first served basis so we need help from someone
close to park that they can go early and grab it. For people in Flower mound, Coppell and Grapevine it is hard to get there that early. Please let me know anyone one from Plano area can help here.
