VSNA 2005 Convention
Dear BOD and Chapter Presidents,
I need your help on the following:
1. VSNA 2005 Convention Campaign Registration: Maryland 600
a. As you know, the deadline for convention registration at discount
price of $89 per person will be over on May 31. We have few more days
to take advantage of this. After this date, you can still register but
at higher price of $100 per person.
b. As of May 28, we have received many registrations and we are
highly excited about the initial registration. We need more
participation and demonstrate our belongingness to VSNA. We have to
hit our “Maryland 600” target.
c. Starting from June 1st, we are launching “Marketing Campaign” to
hit our target. I am pretty confident that we will achieve this target.
d. Being BOD or/and Chapter President, you can influence in your local
chapters. Please start campaigning by sending emails, talking to
members etc. I need your support, please help.
2. Donations / Sponsorships: I also would like to request for
donations, sponsorship for Patron, Souvenir, agenda advertisements etc.
3. Entertainment Committee of VSNA Convention 2005 is inviting all
enthusiastic and talented Veerashaivas, of all ages and from every
chapter, to participate in what we hope will be a truly memorable and
exceptional convention.
4. Members can register online at http://www.vsna2005.org
Please cascade this email to Chapter members and contribute to make
this convention memorable!
Thanking you,
Prabhu Patil
President of VSNA

Maryland 2005 Convention Update
Dear Veerashaivas:
Sharanu-Sharanarthi.
Maryland chapter is proud to invite you all to the 28th annual convention of VSNA that is scheduled for July 1-3 2005 at the Inn and conference center by Marriott at Adelphi, MD. This year's theme for the convention is Compassion, Communication and Charity. We have started some novel programs this year so that our children can communicate and learn sharana way of living through artistry, poem, photography, video etc in a stress free environment (check out the attached document). Similarly youth have organized several workshops like meet the sharanas, alternative career, quick fix cooking demonstrations for youth entering the college etc. They have organized a night's camping at Harper's Ferry to enjoy the nature and to get acquainted with other friends that are visiting from different places.
In order to quench everyone's thirst we have scheduled various sessions, Anubhava Goshti, a religious workshop, business workshop on government contracting, and health workshop on prevention and management of Diabetes, Cardiac disorders and Cancer.
For more information regarding the convention, please visit our website at www.vsna2005.org. You can conveniently register Online and also pay by credit card. If you have any issues while making reservations at the Marriott hotel, feel free to contact us.
Please join us for a memorable experience and make this convention a grand success !!

e-News Letter
Dear BOD and BOR,
As you know, communication is back bone of any organization. VSNA has sevral forums through which we communicate to our members; BOD, BOR, General Body Meetings, VSNA Convention, News Letter etc. I have come up with e-News Letter that will help to quickly share the following information.
1. What is happening in Central VSNA?
2. What is happening in our Local Chapters?
3. Share religious articles and success stories of our fellow veerashaivas
As part of this, I am publishing first e-News Letter. Please read it on our website at http://www.vsna.org and click "News Letter" at the bottom right corner. You can also click the following link to go directly to the page.
http://www.vsna.org/vsna_news_letter_Q1%202005.htm
It is just a kick start and we will work hard to improve this over the period. Please send articles, pictures for next e-NewsLetter. Please note that this is NOT substitute for our regular News Letter.
Please cascade this email to your local chapter members. Please send me your feedback.
Thanks,
-Prabhu Patil
President, Central VSNA
